Jessica Winn

Jessica Winn has extensive work experience in public relations and communications. Jessica has worked for various organizations including AARP Foundation, AARP, Edelman, Smithsonian Institution, Make-A-Wish Central New York, Smith and Team, Veolia Transportation, Trio Student Support Services, and the U.S. Census Bureau. Their roles have included positions such as Director and Project Manager in the President's Office, Media Relations Manager and Media Relations Associate, Public Relations Intern, Public Affairs Intern, Copywriter, Administrative Assistant, Writing and Research Tutor, and Qualitative Research Fellow. Throughout their career, they have been responsible for managing media relations, developing PR strategies, coaching leadership on effective communication with the media, creating media materials and digital content, pitching stories to the media, developing targeted media lists, assisting in the development of communications strategic plans, and executing social plans.

Jessica Winn completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Government at Bowie State University from 2006 to 2010. Jessica then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Public Relations from Syracuse University, where they studied from 2012 to 2013.
