Matthew Meyerson

Matthew Meyerson has extensive experience in tax preparation and volunteer leadership with the AARP Foundation since January 2016, serving in various roles including Tax-Aide Volunteer Member of the National Tax Training Committee, Training Specialist, Income Tax Preparer, and Training Coordinator and Instructor. Meyerson's focus has been on providing free tax services to low to moderate-income taxpayers aged over 50 and delivering training on tax law and software to volunteers across multiple counties. Prior to their work with the AARP Foundation, Meyerson had a distinguished 25-year career at IBM, holding several director-level positions in areas such as Complex PMO, Account Growth, Global Centers of Competence, and Application Management Delivery, where responsibilities included leading large teams, developing sales strategies, and overseeing significant revenue operations. Education includes a Master of Science in Computer Science from Marist College and a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Clarkson University.
