Jane Sung

Jane Sung is a highly experienced professional in health policy and legislative affairs, currently serving as the Director of Health Care Costs and Access at AARP since December 2014. Previously, Jane held the position of Senior Strategic Policy Advisor at the National Association of Insurance Commissioners from July 2006 to November 2014 and served as Health Policy Counsel during that time. Jane's early career included roles as Senior Policy Advisor and Legislative Assistant in the U.S. House of Representatives for Representative Steny Hoyer and as Federal Legislative Analyst and Special Assistant to Governor Parris Glendening in Maryland. Furthermore, Jane contributed as Chairman's Liaison for the Democratic Governors Association. Jane holds a Juris Doctor from American University Washington College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from Boston University.
