Anjali Mehrotra

Anjali Mehrotra has a diverse work experience in various organizations and roles. Anjali is the Founder of Equality, Period. NJ since 2020. Anjali serves as the Communications Vice President for the NJ Branch of AAUW starting in 2023. Anjali is a Trustee at Union County College since 2022. Anjali has been associated with the National Organization for Women, serving as a Board Member and later becoming the President of the NJ State Chapter from 2019 to 2022. Anjali is also a Board Member for the NJ affiliate of Emerge since 2021. Prior to their involvement in nonprofit organizations, they worked as a Graphic Design Professional at AM Design Studio since 2007. Anjali has also been involved in political campaigns, serving as an Assembly Candidate in the New Jersey General Assembly in 2021 and as a Council Candidate for Mehrotra and Montes for Council in 2018. Additionally, they worked in technology and creative roles for Linda Weber for Congress from 2017 to 2018, and as the Director of Social Media for Lacey Rzeszowski for Assembly from 2017 to 2017.

Anjali Mehrotra has a diverse educational background. Anjali obtained a Certification in Diversity and Inclusion from Cornell University in the year 2020. Prior to that, they pursued a Certificate in Digital Design from Parsons School of Design - The New School, completing it between 2002 and 2004. In 2016 and 2017, they attended UCLA Extension, where they earned a Certificate in College Counseling. Earlier in their academic journey, from 1991 to 1994, Anjali pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Management Information Systems, with a focus on General Management, from Stevens Institute of Technology. Anjali also holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Computer Engineering from the same institution, which they obtained between 1987 and 1991. Additionally, Anjali completed their high school education at La Martiniere for Girls.
