Zannis Kalampoukis

Zannis Kalampoukis has a comprehensive work experience in the software engineering field. Zannis started their career as a Junior Software Engineer at GNT Information Systems SA in 2014, where they developed web applications and worked on various projects. Zannis then worked as a Junior Support Engineer at OpenBet, where they handled Linux remote environments and implemented code fixes.

In 2015, Zannis joined CLMS (UK) Limited as a Software Engineer - Technical Lead, managing and developing software solutions for EC-funded R&D projects. Later that year, they also started working at Software Competitiveness International S.A. as a Software Engineer, where they developed scalable products for the automotive industry using Java, Node.js, and Angular on AWS infrastructure.

In 2017, Zannis worked as a Software Engineer (Military Service) for the Hellenic Army, implementing critical government-issued legislation and developing HRM and BPM applications.

From 2020 to 2021, they served as a Senior Software Engineer at Socital, where they were involved in full-stack engineering for a B2B product, reducing the product's footprint and migrating the codebase to TypeScript. Zannis also designed infrastructure upgrades and advocated for a transformation to a microservices-based architecture.

In 2021, Zannis worked as a Software Engineer at yearn.finance, and from 2021 to 2022, they were a Blockchain Developer at t3rn, focusing on blockchain development.

Currently, Zannis is working at Aave as a Senior Software Engineer, starting in 2022.

Zannis Kalampoukis obtained an undergraduate degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a specialization in Software Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens. Zannis attended the university from 2008 to 2016. Zannis also completed a certification course in The complete Kotlin Developer from Udemy, which they obtained in May 2017.
