Charles Knapp

Charles Knapp has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Charles most recently served as the Director of Finance at Anne Arundel Workforce Development Corp., starting in March 2022. Prior to this, they worked at the Maryland State Treasurer's Office as the Deputy Director of Banking Services from February 2019 to September 2021. Before that, they held the position of Director of Operations and Fiscal Services at the Maryland Department of Aging from July 2017 to February 2019.

Earlier in their career, Charles served as the Deputy Director of Operations and Fiscal Services at the State of Maryland Department of Aging from April 2016 to February 2019. Charles also held the role of Chief Financial Officer at Bowles Fluidics Corp, where they played a key role in its acquisition by a private equity firm in 2014. This acquisition was recognized as the "Deal of the Year" by The Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) - Maryland Chapter. Prior to that, they held positions as Vice President of Finance & Chief Financial Officer at Bowles Fluidics Corp and Chief Financial Officer at Steuart Development Co.

Charles's extensive experience also includes a tenure at US Office Products, where they started as the Vice President of Internal Audit and eventually became the Vice President of Operations. During their time there, the company went public and experienced substantial growth, reaching over $2 billion in sales revenue.

Throughout their career, Charles Knapp has demonstrated strong financial leadership and expertise across various organizations, contributing to their success and growth.

Charles Knapp completed their MBA in General Business from the University of Maryland Global Campus from 1994 to 1996. Prior to that, they attended St. John's Central High School, where they pursued a College/University Preparatory and Advanced High School/Secondary Diploma Program. Charles went on to graduate from The Ohio State University with a BSBA in Business/Accounting.
