Brian Brooks

Brian Brooks has a strong background in software engineering and FPGA engineering. Brian has worked at Abaco Systems since 2018, initially as a Software Engineer until October 2021, and currently as an FPGA Engineer. Prior to Abaco Systems, they worked at ARM as a Staff Software Engineer from 2015 to 2018. Before that, they gained experience at Extreme Networks as a Senior Software Engineer from 2011 to 2014, where they integrated Open vSwitch into ExtremeOS on Broadcom-based switches for SDN capabilities and developed software for Broadcom-based Ethernet PHYs and optical transceivers. Brian started their career as an intern at Cisco in 2008 and 2009, and later became a Software Engineer at Cisco from 2010 to 2011.

Brian Brooks attended the University of Colorado Boulder from 2006 to 2010, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science.
