James Sweeney

James Sweeney is an experienced technical professional currently serving as a Technical Fellow and Director at Abaco Systems since March 2015, where the focus is on developing advanced FPGA-based DSP products for the aerospace industry. Previously held the position of Principal HW Design Engineer at Abaco, leading a team to design ruggedized FPGA and ADC/DAC products in compliance with aerospace standards. Prior to Abaco, James owned Gruene Energy Solutions LLC from September 2008 to January 2015, overseeing schematic design and business operations. James also held roles as a Senior Hardware Developer at TippingPoint, working on network processing chassis, and as a Senior Hardware Technician at National Instruments, specializing in the development of serial expansion products and galvanic isolation designs.
