Bill McCauley has held various finance-related roles throughout their career. Bill is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Abacus Life since 2020. Prior to that, they held the same position at Independent Financial Partners (IFP) from 2018 to 2020. Before their roles as CFO, they worked as the Director of New Ventures Finance at McKinsey & Company from 2017 to 2018. From 2012 to 2017, they served as the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Transamerica Financial Advisors, Inc., where they played a key leadership role and was responsible for financial management and strategy. Bill also has experience as a CFO and Assistant Vice President & Controller at MML Investors Services, Inc. and as the Director of Finance and Director of Management Reporting & Subsidiary Accounting at John Hancock. Bill began their career as a Senior Financial Analyst at Phase Forward and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Bill McCauley completed their education at Bentley University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from 1990 to 1994. Following that, they pursued further studies at the Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business, where they earned an MBA degree from 1998 to 2002. In addition to their academic qualifications, Bill McCauley has obtained a number of certifications, including Series 24, Series 27, Series 63, and Series 7, from FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority).
