Evan W. Law

Evan W. Law has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and companies. Evan started their professional career at Rutgers University in 2016 as a Writing Tutor at the Plangere Writing Center. In 2018, Evan joined Abacus Group as a Client Support Technician, Intern, where they provided technical support to clients both on-site and through remote channels. They also managed and troubleshooted hardware and software issues, as well as maintained inventory. Later in the same year, Evan became an IT Project Manager at Abacus Group. In this role, they successfully completed project objectives while coordinating with various teams and departments. Evan directed the creation of onboarding workflows and on-site protocols, specifically for abacusFlex Public Cloud projects. They also oversaw project services related to the abacusFlex Public Cloud product, including integrating Office 365 cloud-based email and file shares with networking hardware and VoIP phones. Evan's most recent role at Rutgers University, which lasted from February to May 2018, was as a Technical Intern in Enterprise Infrastructure Telepresence and Conference for the Office of Information Technology. In this position, they tested and deployed Cisco Telepresence solutions throughout the university and handled product inquiries and user experience issues. Evan also created budgetary projections and completed in-house IT service requests. Overall, Evan's work experience demonstrates their expertise in client support, technical project management, and IT infrastructure.

Evan W. Law has a diverse education history. In 2014, they began their academic journey at Rutgers University–New Brunswick, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Information Technology & Informatics. During their undergraduate years, they also pursued a second major in East Asian Languages & Areas Studies. In 2017, Evan W. Law expanded their knowledge further by studying Japanese Language and Cultural Studies at Tsuru University, further demonstrating their interest in East Asian studies.

After completing their undergraduate degree in 2018, Evan W. Law obtained additional certifications to enhance their skill set. Evan W. earned the Security Pro certification from the TestOut Corporation in May 2018, demonstrating their proficiency in security-related areas. Additionally, in July 2017, they obtained the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N3 Level certification from The Japan Foundation, showcasing their language skills.

In 2022, Evan W. Law has embarked on further educational advancement by pursuing a Master of Computer and Information Technology (MCIT) degree at the University of Pennsylvania. This program allows him to specialize in Computer Science, fueling their passion for technology and expanding their expertise in the field.
