Cristin Berkey

Cristin Berkey serves as the Vice President of Intellectual Property and Legal Affairs at Abata Therapeutics since November 2021, previously holding the position of Senior Director of Intellectual Property and Contracts. Prior to this role, Cristin was with TCR² Therapeutics Inc. as Director and Associate Director of Intellectual Property Counsel from December 2019 to November 2021. Cristin's earlier experience includes positions as an Associate at Wolf Greenfield and Lando & Anastasi, LLP, along with roles as a Patent Agent at Choate, Hall & Stewart, and Houston Eliseeva LLP. Cristin began a career in research as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Children's Hospital Boston, focusing on immunology and infectious disease from 2006 to 2010. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Law (JD) from Boston College Law School, a Ph.D. in Genetics from Columbia University, and a B.S. in Biology from Tufts University.
