Harindra Arachchi

Harindra Arachchi is a seasoned professional in informatics and technology with extensive experience in the biotechnology and genomics sectors. Currently serving as the Director and Head of Informatics and Technology at Abata Therapeutics, Arachchi is responsible for building infrastructure, technology, information security frameworks, and data strategies to develop transformative medicines. Previous roles include Associate Director of Engineering at Foundation Medicine, where Arachchi led the transformation of FDA-approved medical reporting systems, and positions at Editas Medicine, the Global Alliance for Genomics and Health, and the Broad Institute, where Arachchi made significant contributions to genomic data management and processing.
