Jeyhun Jafarov

Jeyhun Jafarov has a diverse work experience in the field of cyber security and information technology. Jeyhun currently holds the position of Head of Cyber Security at ABB, starting from April 2022. Prior to this, Jeyhun worked at Unibank as Head of Cyber Security from June 2021 to April 2022, and as a Cyber Security Analyst from October 2019 to June 2021. Before that, they held roles at AzeriCard LLC as an Information Security Administrator from December 2018 to October 2019, and as a Cyber Security Expert from March 2017 to December 2018. Jeyhun also worked for HackerOne as a Penetration Tester from May 2016 to March 2017. Jeyhun had a significant role at The Republic of Azerbaijan Ministry of Economy as a Senior Cyber Security Specialist from April 2013 to May 2016. Earlier in their career, Jeyhun worked as a TI Supervisor at Nokia from September 2011 to January 2013, and at Bakcell and Nar (Azerfon) from January 2012 to December 2012, and January 2012 to July 2012, respectively.

Jeyhun Jafarov completed their Master of Technology degree at Moscow State Technical University "MAMI" (Institute of Automobile Technology and Management) from 2010 to 2016. Jeyhun also obtained a certification as a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) from EC-Council in October 2018.
