Andrea Doane

Andrea Doane is a seasoned communications leader currently serving as Vice President and Head of Communications for Electrification at ABB since July 2023. Prior to this role, Andrea spent over 13 years at GE, where as Global Communications Director for the Steam Power division, Andrea directed a global team to develop impactful communication strategies. Previous positions at GE included Communications Director for the Alstom Integration, focusing on employee communication, and Senior Manager for Global Employee & Commercial Communications, enhancing understanding of corporate strategy among employees. Andrea's early career included significant roles at United Technologies Corp., where responsibilities ranged from corporate citizenship to executive communications, and at the Connecticut Business and Industry Association as a research analyst. Andrea holds a Certificate of Management from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, a PhD and MA in French Literature from the University of Chicago and Miami University, respectively, and a BA in French from Nazareth University.
