Simon Goldberg is the Senior Director of Global Digital Marketing at Abbott. Simon has over 25 years of experience in the field of communications and policy, and has been a part of some of the most important scientific discoveries of our time. Simon played a pivotal role in the mapping of the human genome, and was one of the first to develop a new technique to capture short-strand DNA. Simon has also worked extensively in the area of life science and biotech investment strategy, and has helped increase the valuation of many companies by more than 10%. In their current role at Abbott, Simon is responsible for leading the digital marketing efforts for all of Abbott’s products and services.
Simon Goldberg earned a MBA from DePaul Driehaus College of Business with a focus in entrepreneurship and marketing. Prior to that, they completed a BS in cellular molecular biology from the University of Michigan. Simon also holds an MS in human genetics and genetic counseling from the University of Pittsburgh.
