Catherine Wingate

Catherine Wingate is an experienced professional in quality control and method validations, currently serving as a Quality Control Supervisor at AbbVie since January 2023. Prior to this, Catherine held the position of Quality Control Manager for Outsource Testing at Vibalogics, contributing to the establishment of a quality control lab for gene therapy. Previous roles include serving as a Scientist at Kiniksa Pharmaceuticals, where Catherine helped establish a QC/AD internal department, and a Contract Scientist at Voyager Therapeutics, focusing on downstream purification for a therapy program. With a robust background in quality control and analytical testing, Catherine has also worked for LFB USA, EMD Serono, and Lonza, honing skills in process development and GMP manufacturing. Catherine earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Bridgewater State University and furthered education with coursework at Quinnipiac University.
