Benoit Cardinal-David

Benoit Cardinal-David is an experienced Sr Principal Research Scientist in the Process Research and Development group at AbbVie, a position held since October 2010, focusing on the design, optimization, and implementation of chemical processes for small molecule API synthesis. Previous roles at AbbVie include Principal Research Scientist and various Sr Scientist titles within Global Process Research and Development. Prior to AbbVie, Benoit served as an FQRNT Postdoctoral Fellow at Northwestern University, developing methodologies utilizing N-heterocyclic carbenes for enantioselective synthesis. Benoit holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Organic Chemistry and a Master’s Degree in Organic Chemistry, both from Université de Montréal.
