Francisco Rausa

Francisco Rausa is a seasoned professional in the healthcare and biotechnology sectors, currently serving as Director of Digital Health & Innovation at AbbVie since August 2013 and also holding the title of Future Therapeutics and Technology. Rausa is the owner of EnvyThat, Inc, which is set to launch soon, and serves as Vice-Chair of the Board for Instituto Health Sciences Career Academy, Chicago's first charter health science career academy dedicated to preparing students for healthcare careers. Prior experience includes significant roles at Baxter Healthcare, where Rausa contributed as Sr Manager in R&D for both Science & Technology and Biochemistry & Cellular Immunology, and co-founded the Latinos@Baxter Business Resource Group. Additional experience includes work at Abbott Laboratories as a Sr Process Scientist and a postdoctoral research fellowship at the University of Illinois. Rausa holds a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics from the University of Illinois.
