Nandkishor Nere

Nandkishor Nere, Ph.D., MBA, serves as the Global Head of R&D Process Engineering and Senior Director at AbbVie since June 2013, overseeing process engineering for bio-processes and small molecule APIs. Nandkishor holds various roles, including leading the Center of Excellence for Isolation and Separation Technologies and directing commercial API crystallization processes. Additionally, Nandkishor is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Illinois Chicago, where a course on Biopharma Process Development and Manufacturing is designed and delivered. With prior experience in leadership positions at Abbott and Aditya Birla Science & Technology Company, Nandkishor has a strong academic foundation with multiple advanced degrees in chemical engineering and an MBA. Nandkishor also contributes to the Enabling Technologies Consortium as a board member and editor for Pharmaceutical Engineering.
