Spencer Scholz

Spencer Scholz is a highly skilled Senior Scientist at AbbVie since March 2020, bringing extensive experience from previous roles, including Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of California, Berkeley from October 2017 to February 2020, and Graduate Student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from August 2011 to September 2017. During the PhD program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Spencer Scholz conducted research under Prof. Tehshik Yoon, focusing on methodology to access strained ring systems using visible light photocatalysis. Spencer Scholz holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Organic Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and dual Bachelor’s Degrees in Chemistry and Neuroscience from the University of Vermont, completed in 2011.
