Giovanni di Milia

Giovanni Di Milia is a seasoned technology professional with over two decades of experience in software engineering and management. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at ABBYY since December 2024, Giovanni previously held various engineering management roles at Ionic: An OutSystems Company from October 2017, including Engineering Manager for Appflow and the Mobile Ecosystem, as well as Cloud. Giovanni began their career as a web programmer and IT specialist at institutions such as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Carbonite, and co-founded a startup specializing in custom web-based ERP software in Italy. Giovanni holds a degree in Computer Science from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna.
