Shannon Ryan

Shannon Ryan is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in reporting and anchoring across various media outlets. Currently, Shannon serves as a reporter and fill-in anchor at ABC13 Houston since March 2023. Previously, Shannon held positions at Fox Television Stations as a crime reporter and fill-in anchor from April 2019 to February 2023, as well as a general reporter. Earlier experience includes roles at Nexstar Media Group as an anchor, multimedia journalist, and producer from March 2017 to March 2019, and an internship at CBS News. Shannon also contributed as a sideline reporter for the Big Ten Network while studying at Penn State University, where Shannon obtained a Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism and Political Science. Shannon's background includes coverage of significant events such as the 2016 Summer Paralympics for The Associated Press.
