Kimberly Godwin

Kimberly Godwin is a seasoned broadcast journalist with extensive experience in leadership roles within major news organizations. Currently serving as President of ABC News since May 2021, Godwin previously held the position of Executive Vice President at CBS News from February 2019 to April 2021. A long tenure at CBS News saw Godwin rise through the ranks, holding titles such as Vice President of News and Senior Broadcast Producer from 2007 to 2018. Prior to CBS, Godwin was the Interim News Director and Assistant News Director at WCBS, and also made significant contributions as Director of the Division of Journalism and Adjunct Professor of Media Ethics at Florida A&M University. Early career achievements include leadership roles at NBC News and WOIO/WUAB, showcasing a consistent trajectory of excellence in news leadership and production.
