Dapeng Sun

Dapeng Sun has over 16 years of work experience in the biotech industry. Dapeng is currently the Executive Vice President at ABclonal Technology since January 2018. Prior to this, they worked at ShangPharma as the Vice President of Biologics and ADC from September 2016 to December 2017, and as the Executive Director of Biologics and ADC from March 2016 to September 2016. Before joining ShangPharma, Sun was the General Manager of Shanghai R&D Center at New England Biolabs from August 2008 to March 2016, where they oversaw various research and development activities and maintained the R&D technology platform. Dapeng also worked as a Scientist at ImmunoGen, Inc. from November 2005 to December 2007, and at Biogen Idec as a Scientist from May 2005 to September 2005. Sun started their career as a Research Associate at the University of Mississippi Medical Center from March 2002 to June 2004. Dapeng holds a postdoctoral research associate position at MIT from June 2004 to May 2005.

Dapeng Sun completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry at Jilin University from 1993 to 1998. Dapeng then pursued further education at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where they obtained a PhD in Biochemistry from 1998 to 2002. Later, Dapeng Sun attended China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) and completed an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from 2014 to 2016.
