Robert Langlais, PE

Robert Langlais, PE has been working in the automation industry since 2002. Robert began their career at ABCO Automation as a Senior Design Engineer, where they were responsible for designing electrical control systems and programming PLCs, HMIs, Servos, VFDs, and Machine Vision Systems for various machine automation projects. In 2009, they were promoted to Group Leader and was responsible for managing four electrical design engineers and their respective workloads. In addition, they assisted them in an effort to meet the budgets and profit margins on their individual projects. In the same year, they were also promoted to Controls Sales Engineer, where they were responsible for estimating, quoting, and selling electrical control systems and system designs for custom machinery and processes.

Robert Langlais, PE received a BSEE in Electrical Engineering from Clemson University. Robert obtained a Professional Engineering License in North Carolina in July 1999 and a Professional Engineering License in South Carolina in March 2002.
