Carl Tiede

Carl Tiede has a diverse work experience in the field of Information Technology. Carl is currently working at Abdo as the Director of Information Technology, a role they started in September 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Abdo as an IT Manager from March 2021 to September 2023, where they established and managed the firm's first internal IT department and designed a new Azure Cloud-based infrastructure.

Before joining Abdo, Carl worked at Right Networks. At Right Networks, they served as a Senior System Administrator from September 2020 to March 2021, where they automated critical infrastructure recovery and conducted reviews for PowerShell and Kaseya scripts. Carl also worked as a System Administrator from December 2018 to September 2020, automating workloads for tier 1 and 2 support staff and implementing Kaseya scripting technology for workstation management. Carl also had previous roles at Right Networks as a Senior Service Desk Engineer and Service Desk Engineer.

Prior to their tenure at Right Networks, Carl worked at Concordia College, where they held positions as a Student Manager from May 2016 to May 2017 and a Student Technician from October 2014 to May 2016. In these roles, they provided desktop support and ensured the Solution Center operated efficiently.

Throughout their career, Carl has gained experience in various areas of IT, including infrastructure design, automation, scripting, and desktop support.

Carl Tiede attended River Falls High School from 2009 to 2013. Carl then pursued their Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science and Spanish at Concordia College from 2013 to 2017.
