Amr Sharkas

Amr Sharkas is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software development, digital transformation, and automation. Currently serving as the E-Services and Digital Apps Director at Abdullah Al-Othaim Markets since February 2022, Amr previously held roles at the Ministry of Finance in Saudi Arabia as an IBM Automation Specialist and at the Ministry of Sports as a Technical Team Lead. Amr's earlier experience includes working as a Solutions Architect and Development Team Lead at Imam Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University, along with various software engineering roles at companies such as Imagine Technologies, Arabic Computer Systems, AL JERAISY GROUP COMPANY, and e-traid Infosolutions. Amr holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Zagazig University and a Master’s Degree in Computer Software Engineering from Suez Canal University.
