Sr. Integration Project Manager at AbelCine

Jason Licht has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of audiovisual (AV) technology, lighting, and project management.

From March 2004 to February 2007, Licht worked as a Lighting Director at NEP Studios, where they designed and directed lighting requirements for multiple camera shoots. Jason also hired, scheduled, and supervised lighting technicians while operating a computer lighting console and maintaining the dimmer system.

From December 2007 to August 2010, Licht served as the Production Manager AV at JCC in Manhattan. Jason coordinated daily AV requests and maintained lighting, sound, and projection systems in the auditorium. Jason was also responsible for budgeting and planning capital improvements in AV and lighting systems.

In April 2011, Licht joined Wilson Elser as an AV Manager, managing all video conferences for extended learning lectures and company meetings across 23 offices within the USA and Europe. Jason also supported the CEO and other senior staff in presenting to clients and potential clients and assisted in depositions via secure video conferencing.

Licht took on the role of Director of AV Operations at the New-York Historical Society in September 2011. In this position, they supervised audio, video, and lighting for live events and exhibit installations. Jason also managed all interactive and non-interactive AV design, development, and installation for the newly renovated Henry Luce Center, ensuring compliance with LEED certification.

From September 2017 to December 2017, Licht worked as an AV Manager at Convene, providing audio and video support for businesses holding conferences and meetings. Jason also supported live streaming services of conferences and digitally recorded events for clients such as Facebook, Morgan Stanley, and BlackRock.

In September 2018, Licht joined Electrosonic as a Project Manager, contributing to the successful completion of AV projects before joining Barbizon Lighting Company the same year as the Systems Division Manager for NYC. In this role, they oversaw annual sales over $10 million in the NY Systems Division, managed a team of 18 full-time staff, and negotiated contracts with specialized subcontractors.

Licht served as the Multimedia Service Manager at Waveguide LLC from March 2022 to June 2022. Jason was embedded in MetLife HQ, supporting Hybrid, Virtual, and Streaming events and managing a staff of Multimedia Technicians in multiple domestic office locations.

Currently, Licht is working as a Sr. Integration Project Manager at AbelCine, starting from June 2022.

Jason Licht attended Bennington College, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Stage & Lighting Design. Prior to that, they attended Performing Arts High School and earned an Arts NYC Regents Diploma with a focus on Drama.
