Amer Ghafari

Amer Ghafari is the Vice President of Information Technology at AbelsonTaylor. Amer has over fifteen years of experience in the IT field and has held multiple positions of increasing scope and accountability, including Help Desk Manager, Network Manager, Project Manager, and Account Lead. Amer has a strong background in datacenter infrastructure, network management, server administration, and desktop support.

Amer Ghafari began their IT career in 2003 as a Systems Support Specialist with G-Tech. In this role, they provided technical support for G-Tech's clients. Amer also assisted with the planning and implementation of various upgrade and maintenance projects. Amer's exceptional customer service skills and their dedication to their work earned him several "employee of the month" awards.

In 2007, Amer joined SWC Technology Partners as an IT Consultant / Systems Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for maintaining the datacenter infrastructure, as well as the network, server, and desktop environments for SWC's clients. Amer also managed improvement projects to enhance client networks. Amer's contributions to SWC helped the company earn multiple new managed services clients.

In 2013, Amer was promoted to Vice President of Information Technology at AbelsonTaylor. In this role, they are responsible for leading the IT team and overseeing all aspects of the company's IT operations. Amer is dedicated to providing exceptional IT support to AbelsonTaylor's employees and clients.

Amer Ghafari has a Master of Business Administration from Concordia University Chicago with a focus in leadership and change management. They also have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management / Management Information Systems from the University of Michigan-Dearborn. Amer Ghafari is certified in The Leadership Laboratory Program from Eleview Consulting, A+ from CompTIA, Microsoft Certified Professional from Microsoft, and Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator from Microsoft. They are also certified in Network + from CompTIA.

Amer Ghafari reports to Dale Taylor, CEO. A direct report to Amer Ghafari is and Chris Mauck - Senior Director, Interactive Technology. They work with Christopher Dimmock - SVP, Integrated Strategy, Jeff Berg - President, and Lynnette Hunter - EVP, Director of Client Services.
