Edward Hallam

Edward Hallam is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and health sectors. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer and Commercial Director at ABEX Pharmaceutica (Pty) Ltd since February 2017, Edward has also held the position of Managing Director at Encha Health (Pty) Ltd from February 2021 to November 2023. Prior roles include Group Licensing & Portfolio Manager for New Business Development at Aspen Pharma Group and Business Development Manager at Pharmathen. Edward's early career featured positions such as Resort Manager at SLT and Assistant Manager at International Surf Centre. Academically, Edward holds a Master's Degree in Commerce from Nelson Mandela University, complemented by an Honors Degree in Commerce and a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce from the University of Port Elizabeth and Nelson Mandela University, respectively.
