Kathrin Stanner-Junghanns

Kathrin Stanner-Junghanns is an experienced communications professional currently serving as Spokesperson and Head of Communications at Abfallwirtschaftsbetrieb München since May 2020. Stanner-Junghanns has worked as a journalist and editor, as well as a media consultant on various freelance projects since 2013, including project and app development. Previous roles include Managing Editor for news programs at MDR MITTELDEUTSCHER RUNDFUNK from 2014 to 2017, and Managing Editor for youth programs and news programs at Bayerischer Rundfunk from 2003 to 2012. Stanner-Junghanns also has experience in marketing and press from internships at the Malaysian-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Association of German Speaking Companies in Southern Afrika. Stanner-Junghanns holds a Master's degree in Media Science from Technische Universität Ilmenau.
