Rayaan Sayeed's work experience includes roles at Abhi (YC S21) as Corporate Sales Manager (2022-present), HBL - Habib Bank Limited as Relationship Manager (2020-present) and Management Trainee - Corporate Banking (2020-present), Khaadi SMC Pvt. Ltd. as Intern - Commercial (2019-2020), DawnNews as Marketing Intern (2018-2019), and ICI Pakistan Limited as Intern (2017-2018). At HBL - Habib Bank Limited, Rayaan managed a corporate portfolio of over PKR 30 Bn in credit limits with 20 clients ranging from OMCs, pharmaceutical, rice, cement and textile to name a few, oversaw portfolio cross sells to various departments such as Treasury and Transaction & Employee Banking, and acted as a liaison for internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with SBP prudential regulations and the bank's own credit policy. At Khaadi SMC Pvt. Ltd., Rayaan evaluated optimization of footfall and conversion at retail outlets, contributed towards improving conversion rates, explored the contribution of different departments such as Supply Chain towards the performance of stores, and conducted detailed research on Visual Merchandising and how it impacts sales. At DawnNews, Rayaan examined and researched for different events or campaigns, discovered different revenue streams in terms of events and campaigns, and marketed Dawn News to different companies for their assistance in sponsoring events. At ICI Pakistan Limited, Rayaan cultivated different import data and its filtration, worked with the Chemicals Department in obtaining information for the development of Polyethylene Terephthalate as well as Poly Vinyl Alcohol, and prepared and presented a detailed analysis on importers, exporters, producers and suppliers for Polyethylene Terephthalate and Poly Vinyl Alcohol.
