Usman Ghulam has a diverse work experience in software engineering roles. Usman started their career as an Internee Software Engineer at Blue Horn Technologies, where they were responsible for creating fully responsive designs using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as debugging JavaScript scripts and jQuery.
Usman then joined ZEEN Technologies as a MERN Stack Engineer, where they built a blog application from scratch and worked closely with the team to effectively complete projects. Usman also provided maintenance for existing projects.
In 2019, Usman joined Renegade Furniture Group as a Frontend Engineer, specializing in ReactJS. Usman successfully built front-end interfaces based on designs and connected them to JSON REST APIs. Usman also developed mobile applications for multiple platforms and ensured clean and well-structured code.
Most recently, Usman worked at Strategic Systems International as a Senior Software Engineer. Usman worked on various company projects and portals, coordinating with US team members for task completion. Usman conducted daily scrum meetings and monitored feature development progress.
Currently, Usman Ghulam is working as a Full Stack Engineer at Abhi (YC S21), starting in August 2022.
Usman Ghulam began their education at Moon Public Boys High School, where they studied Computer Science from an unspecified start date up until 2012. After completing their high school education, they attended Government Islamia College Civil Lines Lahore from 2012 to 2014, where they pursued a degree in Computer Science with a focus on Information and Communication Systems (ICS).
In 2015, Usman Ghulam enrolled in Bets to acquire proficiency in spoken English. Subsequently, in 2018 and 2019, they attended Vvork Cloud Technologies, where they pursued a degree in Full Stack Development with an emphasis on Computer Science.
Most recently, starting in 2020, Usman Ghulam has been studying Computer Software Engineering at the Virtual University of Pakistan. Usman is expected to complete their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSCS) in 2024.
In terms of additional certifications, Usman Ghulam obtained the "Exam 480: Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3" certification from Microsoft in March 2019.
