Sharon Kehoe

Co-Founder and Director for Biomaterials R&D at ABK Biomedical

Sharon Kehoe has a diverse work experience in the field of biomedical innovation and research. Sharon is currently the Co-Founder and Director for Biomaterials R&D at ABK Biomedical Inc., a company specializing in developing integrated solutions for embolotherapy procedures performed by interventional radiologists. Sharon has been involved with ABK Biomedical since December 2012, initially as a Co-Founder and Research Program Director.

Additionally, Sharon has served as an Adjunct Professor at Dalhousie University since May 2014. Prior to that, they held the role of Senior Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Applied Oral Sciences and School of Biomedical Engineering at Dalhousie University from August 2010 to December 2012.

Sharon's earlier experience includes working as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Therapeutic Biomaterials Unit, MEDIC, Cork Institute of Technology from July 2009 to July 2010. Sharon also worked as a Consultant at PQMS from September 2007 to July 2009.

Sharon began their career as a PhD Researcher at Dublin City University from October 2003 to June 2008.

Throughout their career, Sharon Kehoe has demonstrated their expertise in the field of biomaterials and has contributed to various research and development projects.

Sharon Kehoe completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B. Eng.) degree in Bioengineering from Dublin City University between 1999 and 2003. Sharon continued their education at the same institution and obtained a PhD in Bioengineering from 2003 to 2008.
