Ian Jimenez

Ian Jimenez is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in avionics, embedded systems, and project leadership within the aerospace industry. Currently serving as Vice President of Engineering at ABL Space Systems since January 2021, Ian leads multiple technical teams to develop the RS1 launch vehicle. Previous roles include Senior Director and Director of Electronic Systems at ABL, Director of Engineering for Embedded Systems at Physical Optics Corporation, and Electrical Engineer at Northrop Grumman Corporation, where significant contributions included embedded system design and project leadership. Ian holds a Master's of Science in Electrical Engineering from UCLA and a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from Harvey Mudd College.
