Masoud Mazloom

Masoud Mazloom is a seasoned data scientist with significant experience in academia and industry. Currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. since January 2019, Masoud previously held postdoctoral researcher positions at both the University of Amsterdam and Amsterdam Data Science from August 2015 to December 2018. Additionally, Masoud organized a data science research lab and worked as a part-time researcher at the School of Computer Science, Institute for Research in Fundamental Sciences (IPM) from April 2017 to October 2018. Masoud also has experience as a visiting scholar at Columbia University in the City of New York in 2014, and served as a Senior Lecturer at Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz (Jundi Shapur) from August 2005 to August 2010, where Masoud taught various courses in computer science and engineering. Earlier in Masoud's career, experience included web development at Toassan from March 2001 to June 2004. Masoud earned a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Amsterdam (2011-2015) and a Master's Degree in the same field from Sharif University of Technology (2001-2004).
