Nic Harsy

Nic Harsy is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in managing software engineering teams and product development across multiple organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at Abnormal Security, Nic oversees four global teams responsible for infrastructure in the Behavioral Events Security Products division, focusing on end-to-end product development and system stability. Previously, Nic has held engineering management roles at Zendesk and Verve Industrial Protection, where improvements in team performance, agile practices, and product enhancements were consistently achieved. Nic's technical background includes software engineering positions at PPi Software and Services and TDS Telecommunications Corp., as well as leadership experience as a Non-Traditional Student Regent at the University of Wisconsin System and service as a Sergeant in the US Marine Corps. Nic holds two Bachelor's degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering.
