Lionel Kambeitz is a seasoned entrepreneur and executive with extensive experience across various sectors, particularly in agribusiness, sustainability, and renewable energy. As Co-Founder, CEO, and Executive Chairman of Above Food since August 2020, Lionel leads a pioneering plant-based food company focused on providing nutritious and transparent products. In September 2021, Lionel founded Carbon RX, an innovative platform for the origination and certification of carbon credits. Lionel's agricultural roots trace back to KF Kambeitz Farms Inc., which has established a legacy in regenerative farming since 1899. Additionally, Lionel founded and serves as Executive Chairman of Delta CleanTech, a leader in CO2 capture and decarbonization, and has co-founded Purely Canada Foods Corp., Port Regina Limited Partnership, KF Aggregates Recycling Inc., and KF Solar Electric, each contributing to sustainable practices in food supply, infrastructure, recycling, and solar energy in Canada.
