Trey Springer

Trey Springer has extensive work experience in various roles within the technology industry. Trey is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Above Lending since February 2023. Prior to this, Trey worked at Brilliant as the Vice President of Strategic Operations from February 2022 to December 2022, and as the Vice President of Product from January 2021 to February 2022. Before their time at Brilliant, Trey held the position of CTO at Align Income Share Funding, where they were responsible for setting and executing company strategy from June 2018 to December 2020. Trey also worked as a Development Lead at Gamut from December 2016 to June 2018 and as a Director of Strategy and Operations at Belly from March 2016 to November 2016. Additionally, Trey has experience as a Lead Developer at MustWin from March 2014 to June 2014, and as a Software Development Team Lead at Enova Financial from April 2012 to March 2014. Trey started their career as a freelance consultant and developer at Trey Springer Consulting from October 2011 to February 2014. Trey also pursued further education at Code Academy as a student from January 2012 to March 2012. Before this, they worked at LLamasoft, Inc. as a Product Manager and Senior Applications Engineer from May 2009 to August 2011.

From 2005 to 2009, Trey Springer attended the University of Michigan, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Operations Engineering and Computer Science.
