Philip Hambling

Philip Hambling has extensive experience in the food and farming industry. Philip started their career in 2001 at Defra, where they worked as a Policy and Project Manager until 2008. Philip then joined the British Meat Processors Association as a Food Policy Manager until 2010. From 2010 to 2013, Philip worked at Randall Parker Foods as an Agriculture Manager before moving to Sainsbury's in 2013, where they held the position of Agriculture Manager until 2017. After leaving Sainsbury's, Philip became the Head of Food and Farming at the NFU (National Farmers' Union) from 2017 to 2023. Currently, they are the Head of CSR at ABP Food Group, a position they have held since 2023.

Philip Hambling attended the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne from 1993 to 1996. Philip pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree with Honors in the field of Zoology/Animal Biology.
