Leonor Alvim Brazão

Leonor Alvim Brazão has a diverse work experience in marketing, art education, and advertising. Leonor began their career as an Art Director at J. Walter Thompson Worldwide in 1988. Leonor then worked at COMUNICAR – FCB Group and Bates Portugal, where they created advertising campaigns for various clients. In 1998, they founded their own company, Brazao Art, where they directed marketing materials and organized multicultural events. Leonor also worked at Abrakadoodle Art Education as a Lead and Manager Teacher, Marketing and Support Associate, and eventually became the Director of Curriculum Support in 2015. In these roles, they developed and implemented art programs, provided training and support to franchise owners, and led creative marketing campaigns.

Leonor Alvim Brazão has a diverse educational background. Leonor began their studies at the Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Visual Communication. Leonor then enrolled at the Centro Universitário Claretiano to complete a Postbaccalaureate program in Art Teacher Education. Additionally, Leonor has studied Violoncelo at the Music Conservatory of Brooklyn in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

In 2000, Leonor attended Collin College, where they focused on Painting classes, specializing in Fine and Studio Arts. Continuing their musical pursuits, they recently joined the Music Spectrum School for the Arts in 2019, where they are currently pursuing a degree in Violoncello.

In terms of certifications, Leonor recently obtained a certification from the National Art Education Association (NAEA) as part of the School for Art Leaders in 2022.
