Ian MacKenzie

Ian Mackenzie is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in client relationship management within the investment industry. Currently serving as a Client Director at abrdn since April 2017, Ian leads the UK Institutional Client Relationship Management team, focusing on client engagement and business development. Prior roles include Head of Client Service, Experienced Relationship Manager, and Managing Director of European Relationship Management at MFS Investment Management, where Ian significantly contributed to establishing successful client service teams. Ian's career began at Deloitte & Touche as a Graduate Trainee, and Ian holds a BA in Economics from the University of York.
