Ernesto Guerra

Ernesto Guerra has extensive experience in survey operations and business performance management within the maritime industry, currently serving as the Director of Operations at the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) since March 2006, overseeing operations for the Latin-American Region. Prior roles at ABS include Operations Manager for the Equatorial Region, Principal Surveyor In-Charge, Principal Surveyor for Central America, Senior Surveyor In-Charge, Senior Surveyor, and Surveyor, all focused on maintaining compliance with international regulations and the efficient execution of survey operations. Prior to ABS, Ernesto held the position of Project Leader at Electromecanica Industrial del Zulia and briefly worked as a Mechanical Engineer at PDVSA Petróleos de Venezuela S.A. Ernesto obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad del Zulia in 2003.
