Iain Nuttall

Iain Nuttall serves as the Area Operations Manager for Africa at the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) since September 2008, supporting the operations team and clients in the region. Previously held roles include Principal Surveyor-in-Charge and Senior Surveyor, mainly focusing on class and statutory surveys of jack-ups and semi-subs in the UKCS North Sea, as well as certification of drilling equipment and ship surveys for support vessels. Earlier experience includes leading over 10 new construction projects in the Pacific region while working as a Surveyor, and serving as a Technician at Boating Sports. Iain Nuttall earned a BSc Hons in Marine Sports Technology from the University of Portsmouth between 2004 and 2008.
