Iris Kimi Foster

Iris Kimi Foster, M.S. has extensive experience as an instructional designer. Iris Kimi has worked as a Lead Instructional Designer at the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) since April 2022. Prior to that, they were a Senior Instructional Designer at ABS from January 2016 to April 2022. Before joining ABS, Iris worked at Baker Hughes as a Senior Instructional Design Project Manager from May 2012 to December 2015. Iris Kimi also served as a Project Manager and Instructional Design Consultant at OSS Law Enforcement Advisors & Academy from June 2013 to October 2014. Prior to that, Iris worked at Insperity as an Instructional Designer from October 2001 to May 2012, and at InterCom as an Instructional Designer from January 2001 to September 2001. Their earlier experience includes working as a Lead Instructional Design at Boeing (formerly McDonnell Douglas) from May 1996 to December 2000, and as a Multimedia Developer in the United States Air Force from July 1991 to May 1996.

Iris Kimi Foster, M.S. obtained a Master of Science Degree in Corporate and Industrial Communication from Lindenwood University in the year 2000. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Education from Wayland Baptist University and an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Applied Science from the same institution. In 1995, they also attended the University of North Texas for Corporate Training and Development. Additionally, they hold an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Allied Health Sciences from the Community College of the Air Force, completed between 1989 and 1995.

Iris Kimi has acquired several certifications throughout their career, including ones in Developing Leadership Presence, Jeff Weiner on Leading like a CEO, Managing a Multigenerational Workforce, Leading like a Futurist, Unlock Your Team's Creativity, Communicating to Drive People to Take Action, Cultivating Mental Agility, Strategic Thinking, and Digital Body Language.
