Amanda Hoosen

Amanda Hoosen has extensive work experience in the field of internal audit. Amanda started their career at Cox Enterprises, Inc as an Internal Audit and Sarbanes Oxley Compliance officer from August 2002 to August 2004. Amanda then joined DRDGOLD, Ltd as the Head of Internal Audit, where they were responsible for establishing the internal audit function and ensuring compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act from October 2004 to October 2009. After that, they worked at Hollard Insurance as the Head of Internal Audit (GM) from December 2009 to March 2013, overseeing internal audit activities across the organization and managing partnerships. Amanda then joined Tronox as the Head of Internal Audit - Tronox South Africa from May 2013 to October 2014, where they started the local internal audit function for the company's global operations. Currently, they are working at Absa Group as the Managing Principal Audit Executive: Technology from April 2022, and previously held the role of Portfolio Head of Internal Audit: Wealth, Investment Management, and Insurance from November 2014 to March 2022.
