Matthew Hum

Matthew Hum has extensive work experience in operations and management roles. Matthew is currently the Director of Operations at AbsenceSoft since November 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Presagia for several years, where they held various positions including Director of Operations, Operations Manager, Implementations & Delivery Team Manager, Senior Implementation Consultant, Junior Implementation Consultant, and Support Specialist. Matthew also has experience as an Assistant Accountant & Marketing Aide at Claire Desjardins, Fine Artist, and as an Entrepreneurial Facilitator at Edge Perspective. Earlier in their career, they worked as an ESL Teacher & Youth Coordinator at Gloria English Schools. Overall, Matthew Hum has a strong background in operations, management, implementation, and team leadership.

Matthew Hum attended Mount Allison University from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Business/Commerce, General. In 2013, they obtained an Intermediate French Certificate from YMCA International Language Schools, specializing in Conversational French. In 2018, Matthew completed a Design Sprint Foundations Nanodegree from Udacity in Information Technology Project Management. From 2019 to 2020, they pursued a Business Analytics Nanodegree from Udacity. Additionally, Matthew obtained the CLMS certification from Disability Management Employer Coalition (DMEC) in 2022 and is HIPAA & HITECH Certified, with certifications obtained in 2020, 2017, and 2014.
