Eric Rivas, PhD, is a Project Manager at Podium, specializing in microgravity and exercise science research since January 2024. Prior to this role, Eric worked as a Research Program Manager at Axiom Space, focusing on microgravity research from December 2022 to December 2023. Eric served as a Research Physiologist at NASA's Johnson Space Center from August 2020 to December 2022, leading research on exercise countermeasures for astronauts. Academic experience includes serving as an Assistant Professor of Exercise Physiology at Texas Tech University, directing the Exercise & Thermal Integrative Physiology Laboratory, where research centered on exercise and vascular health.
