Philippa Venning

Philippa Venning has extensive work experience in various roles and organizations. Philippa is currently serving as the Vice President - Program Quality and Strategy at Abt Associates since September 2021. Prior to that, they worked at DFAT as the Deputy Head of Mission Australian Embassy in Timor-Leste from August 2018 to August 2021. Before joining DFAT, Philippa held multiple positions at DFAT, including Director from 2007 to 2018 and Design Consultant in 2012-2013. Philippa also worked as a Consultant in Governance at The World Bank from 2013 to 2015, a Consultant in Access to Justice at The World from 2005 to 2007, and as a Monitoring, Evaluation, and Communications Officer at UNDP in 2003-2004.

Philippa Venning holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) and a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from The Australian National University, with a focus on law, politics, and Indonesian. Philippa also obtained a Master's degree in Law from the University of Melbourne.
