Hajar Altenaiji

Hajar Altenaiji has a diverse and extensive work experience. Hajar is currently the Director of Marketing Communications at the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development. Prior to that, they founded and served as the Creative Director of Hajar Design Studio, focusing on product design and incorporating cultural diversity of the UAE. Hajar also held various roles at Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), including Associate Director - Corporate Communications, Senior Manager, and PR and Media Manager. Hajar was a member of the Dubai Design and Fashion Council. Hajar has also worked at Emirates Foundation for Youth Development, Ministry of Presidential Affairs - UAE, Advanced Technology Investment Company, and Family Development Foundation.

Hajar Altenaiji obtained a Bachelor's degree in Communication Technology from Higher Colleges of Technology between 1999 and 2003. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in "Introduction to Curating" and "Art as a Global Business: Dynamics of the Art Market" from Sotheby's Institute of Art in the year 2020.
